About Jan Vaessen Facilitation

Pragmatic, purposive, analytical, accessible, intelligent … some words that can be used to describe the professional facilitator Jan Vaessen (1969). After gaining his doctorate in Chemical Technology, he started his career in 1996 as a researcher with Unilever. He soon moved on to a position as a project leader, specialising as a facilitator for innovation projects from 2000 onwards. In 2008, he received certification from the International Association of Facilitators (IAF). He also has licences for a number of specific tools.

International experience and partnerships

Jan Vaessen facilitated more than 700 meetings in 35 countries; initially within Unilever, but since 2010 as an independent facilitator. With Jan Vaessen Facilitation, he is focusing on companies and research institutions in fields that include nutrition, pharmaceuticals and biochemistry. He teams up with a range of partners so that he can respond to any demand. Jan Vaessen is located in Nijmegen in the Netherlands, but he works throughout the world.
